The venom is collected using a clean glass contact surface that isolates the material from the hive environment throughout the process. The method is bee-friendly and maintains natural hive activity. The resulting material is a fine crystalline dry powder with a stable peptide profile, containing approximately 70% melittin, suitable for cosmetic ingredient development and research applications.
Quality Control
Each batch undergoes HPLC analysis to confirm melittin concentration and the overall peptide profile. Complete analytical documentation is available for formulation verification and regulatory compliance. Every batch receives a unique batch code for full traceability. After drying, the venom is stored at approximately -25°C to preserve peptide stability. The dried form remains stable at room temperature during shipping and handling.
