BEE VENOM PROTECTS AGAINST COVID-19?

Bee venom may have a role in the protection and also the treatment of Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2).

​A recent article published at Science Direct written by three researchers asks for more studies around this. Over 5000 beekeepers from China participated in a survey and it seems that beekeepers are less likely or even immune against the corona-virus. Also, 121 patients using apitherapy were interviewed and the conclusions from their answers were the same. Bee venom might protect against the corona-virus and Covid-19. 

​More in-depth scientific research is needed to confirm this, but the survey and the interview gives valuable clues.
